Today it’s the turn of France to be questioned over Intersex Genital Mutilations at the 64th Session of the UN Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) on Fri 7 July 10-13h CET + 15–17h CET  >>> watch via treatybodywebcast.org

Session 1: 10-13h

The 1st Session concluded without intersex being broached.

Session 2: 15-17h

16:22h: Intersex children now on! Committee expert Louiza Chalal asks about harmful practices, what measures to guarantee bodily integrity, including legislation? YAY!! (Transcript to follow.)
